Chicken: Sweet & Hot

with: Red Pepper Jelly

1 Whole Chicken

½ C of butter

¼ C Worcester Sauce

1 large clove of garlic


1/2 C Carol Halls Red Pepper Jelly

1 TBL Dijon

1 C orange juice

1 TBL powdered ginger

3 dash Tabasco Sauce

Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan and heat until Carol Hall’s Red Pepper Jelly is melted and sauce is smooth. Quarter chicken and place in baking pan. Pour sauce over and marinate 2-3 hours.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 1 hour uncovered. Turn oven to 400 degrees, cover and cook until brown, basting frequently. Serve with rice, peas and salad.
